As the lead short-form video creator for Midol’s digital campaign, I brought humor, empathy, and social fluency to a legacy brand with a Gen Z rebrand mission. This project allowed me to merge a deep understanding of internet culture with an eye for educational, entertaining storytelling.
roles & responsibilities (overview)
- Writing, shooting, and editing short-form videos designed for virality and platform-native engagement
- Coordinating and leading brainstorms to generate 10+ ideas for each content bucket
- Creating production schedules
- Crafting hooks and supers that matched Midol’s tone of voice while speaking to pain, gender, and visibility
- Collaborating across teams to generate pitch decks and campaign strategy
- Managing FTC compliance and reviewing final creative for legal/copyright flags
- Creating and managing detailed production schedules and run-of-shows
- Overseeing budgets, vendor contracts, photo and video release forms, and expense tracking
